Community Response Team

Provides assessment and stabilization for clients experiencing an acute psychiatric emergency or mental health crisis.


Adult Substance Use Services Team

Provides information, education, support and treatment for people affected by or at risk of developing alcohol and other drug-related difficulties.

Services Provided

  • screening and orientation
  • assessment
  • referral
  • individual and group treatment - clients are served primarily through groups.  A variety of groups are offered during the week and clients are assigned to them according to their treatment goals
  • works closely with all other Mental Health and Addictions Services, other relevant VIHA services, probation, Child, Youth and Family Health and other community agencies

Adult Short Term Assessment and Treatment

The Adult Short Term Assessment and Treatment Team (ASTAT) provides service to adults with serious short-term mental health conditions.
