Building Description

This four-storey complex, which opened in 2007, consists of independent living, assisted living, complex care and privately owned condominiums. It is located within walking distance of the lovely town of Qualicum Beach. The property is surrounded by lovely gardens.

Building Amenities

The building includes common lounge areas with libraries. Guest suite, private dining room and amenity areas are located on the main floor and second floor. There is an outdoor patio area on the second floor. A small tuck shop is available on site. There is a hairdresser and one spa with a therapeutic tub. Space is available for community meetings.

Facility-Specific Restrictions

Tenants must be 55+ years of age.

Cost

Residents pay 70% of their after-tax income which covers:

  • monthly rental accommodation
  • hospitality services: two meals and two snacks daily, weekly housekeeping, laundry, etc.
  • personal care
  • on-site emergency response system

Residents on income assistance pay a flat rate. Items not included as a part of the monthly fee include: telephone, cable, hydro, personal laundry, household and toiletry supplies, medications, personal care products and insurance.

Accessibility

All suites are wheelchair friendly and electric wheelchair use is permitted.

Motorized Scooter Policy

Small pets permitted at General Manager’s discretion. Pet deposit in effect.

Smoking Policy

A non-smoking community.  Smoking is not permitted in any accommodation, patio, balcony, or within the site's grounds.
