Facility-Specific Restrictions
  • tenants must be 55+ years of age with exceptions considered individually

  • the facility does not store residents' valuables. If a resident has a valuable, papers or jewelry, we suggest that the family store them in a bank safety deposit box on behalf of the resident

Cost

Residents pay 70% of their after-tax income which covers:

  • monthly rental accommodation
  • hospitality services: two meals and two snacks daily, weekly housekeeping, laundry, etc.
  • personal care
  • on-site emergency response system

Residents on income assistance pay a flat rate. Items not included as a part of the monthly fee include: telephone, cable, hydro, personal laundry, household and toiletry supplies, medications, personal care products and insurance.

Pet Policy

There are pet specific suites on the main floor (CVSV). Your well trained and friendly pet is welcome to accompany you as many residents enjoy pets. Children will always light up the faces of our residents-young ones are always welcome. Feel free to ask one of our friendly and knowledgeable to staff questions during your visit if you need assistance.

Visitors to Casa Loma and Comox Valley Seniors Village will be welcomed by our friendly reception staff. You are asked to sign in and wear a visitors badge during your visit. We do not have set visiting hours, but we ask guests to use reason when visiting, and the most appropriate hours are typically between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.

During influenza season (typically December-March), to help protect patients from the flu, all visitors will be expected to wear a mask in our facilities if they have not had a flu shot. For more information, please read our Influenza Protection Policy.
