This building features many amenities and services such as: shared dining room, lounge with fireplace, bistro, general store, shared baking kitchen, fully equipped exercise room, billiards room, games room, theatre, spa room, internet equipped library, outdoor garden deck, patios, pond with fountain, benches and an asphalted perimeter trail.

Facility-Specific Restrictions

No smoking indoors or on resident patios. No bbqs, hot plates or stoves.

Nanaimo Seniors Village considers each resident unique and strives to enhance their sense of dignity, usefulness and self-respect while promoting health and wellness.

Cost

Residents pay 70% of their after-tax income which covers:

  • monthly rental accommodation
  • hospitality services: two meals and two snacks daily, weekly housekeeping, laundry, etc.
  • personal care
  • on-site emergency response system

Residents on income assistance pay a flat rate. Items not included as a part of the monthly fee include: telephone, cable, hydro, personal laundry, household and toiletry supplies, medications, personal care products and insurance.
