Island Health Youth Clinics

Island Health Youth Clinics provide free and confidential health services to individuals 25 years of age and under. Depending on location, age range may vary; connect with your local clinic for details. We are committed to providing culturally safe, gender-affirming and inclusive care within a sex-positive environment that is welcoming to all individuals who access our services. At youth clinics, you can talk with a nurse about your health questions, and some sites may have access to other health care practitioners such as physicians, nurse practitioners and counsellors.

Services available at Youth Clinic:

free birth control and referrals as needed
free emergency contraception (ECP)
sexually transmitted infection (STI) information, testing and treatment
questions about sexual health and relationships
HIV education and testing
pregnancy testing and options counselling
immunizations
free condoms and lubricant
mental health and wellness support and referrals
harm reduction information and resources
naloxone kit information
vaping and smoking cessation
