Island Health Youth Clinics provide free and confidential health services to individuals 25 years of age and under. Depending on location, age range may vary; connect with your local clinic for details. We are committed to culturally safe, sexuality and gender-affirming environments for all individuals that access our services. At youth clinics, you can talk with a nurse about your health questions, and some sites may have access to other health care practitioners such as physicians, nurse practitioners and counsellors. 

Services available at Youth Clinic: 

  • Free birth control and referrals as needed
  • Free Emergency Contraception (ECP)
  • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) information, testing and treatment
  • Questions about sexual health and relationships
  • HIV education and testing
  • Pregnancy testing and options counselling
  • Immunizations
  • Free condoms and lube
  • Mental health and wellness support and referrals
  • Harm reduction information and resources
  • Naloxone Kit information
  • Vaping and smoking cessation
