The Volunteer Resources & Engagement Department is proud to support volunteer programs at Island Health sites across our region including: Long Term Care Homes, Acute Care Hospitals, Public Health Units and other unique sites such as Queen Alexandra Centre for Children's Health.

At Island Health our volunteers are trusted, included and valued members of our team.

Volunteers support Island Health’s vision of excellent health and care for everyone, everywhere, every time by enriching the experience of patients, residents, clients, visitors, and staff through the gifts of time, experience and compassion.
