The Rapid Access Addiction Clinic (RAAC) supports individuals with opioid use disorder by starting and maintaining clients on opioid agonist (replacement) therapy (Buprenorphine/Naloxone[Suboxone]/Methadone/Kadian).
Services
Clients are enrolled in the multi-disciplinary, intensive, short term service while they stabilize. Clients are supported as they transition to longer term community services including primary care providers.
The clinic is part of a network of community-based services for clients seeking treatment and support for opioid use disorder in partnership with Umbrella (peer support) the Cool Aid Health Centre, Victoria Youth Clinic, Pandora Clinic, Outreach Services Clinic and Westshore AVI Health Centre.
