2 Floors of LTC (40 units per floor) as well as 3 cottages of 10 beds each.

There are also 40 Independent Living units.

We currently have a mixed model of medical care with both LTC home physicians and community physicians who follow their residents into LTC.

Cost

Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income up to a maximum rate. This covers the cost of food, cleaning, laundry, accommodation, and subsidized care.

As this is the residents’ home, visiting hours are open to family and friends.

During viral respiratory illness season (typically December - March), we follow the Provincial Health Officer’s direction to help protect residents from respiratory illness.

Provincial policy requires all visitors to be informed: "Violence, foul language and abusive behaviours are not acceptable. Verbal threats or acts of violence will not be tolerated and may result in removal from this facility and/or prosecution.”
