Sunridge Place is fully accredited through Accreditation Canada.
Accreditation is an external peer review process to assess and improve the services health care organizations provide to their patients and clients.

Built in 2008 and constructed of five side-by-side buildings. Each is separated by beautiful gardens which are accessible from the main floor and viewable from patios on the second floor. The buildings are joined together by a corridor running through the centre of the site, called the "Street". On either side of the Street there are resident care units we call houses.
There are a total of 17 houses we group into four neighbourhoods, one of which is specially designed for dementia care. The center building also houses the resident activity area, kitchen, laundry, reception, and administrative offices.
Sunridge Place sits on an entire city block which also has a four-storey Assisted Living apartment called The Meadows. The Meadows and The Arbours provide a campus of care.

Sunridge Place is located in Duncan, British Columbia in the central area of the community with great access to services and amenities within the neighbourhood. It is a very walkable community. We offer a state of the art facility within a Campus or “Community of Care”.

Beds in single occupancy rooms: 160
Each unit has an accessible bathroom with ensuite shower, and is furnished with its own electric bed, armoire, and dresser. Every unit has a ceiling track so that lifts can be used to support residents with physical limitations.
Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income up to a maximum rate. This covers the cost of food, cleaning, laundry, accommodation, and subsidized care.

Specially developed recreational and activity programs are developed in consideration of the physical and cognitive capabilities of residents.

Motorized scooters are not permitted.
Residents are not permitted to have personal pets, although pets are allowed to visit as long as they are properly attended to at all times and do not pose a threat or concern to others.

During viral respiratory illness season (typically December - March), we follow the Provincial Health Officer’s direction to help protect residents from respiratory illness.
Provincial policy requires all visitors to be informed: "Violence, foul language and abusive behaviours are not acceptable. Verbal threats or acts of violence will not be tolerated and may result in removal from this facility and/or prosecution.”
