This four-storey complex that opened in 2007 is located within walking distance of the beautiful town of Qualicum Beach. Secured building, wheelchair accessible.
The building features many amenities and services including lounges, wellness centre, hair salon, media room, library, and recreation hall. Outdoor areas feature walking trails, mature trees, and landscaped environments.

Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income up to a maximum rate. This covers the cost of food, cleaning, laundry, accommodation, and subsidized care.

A variety of activities are provided 7 days a week to suit all needs.
Wheelchair and electric wheelchair accessible.
- Motorized Aids i.e. scooters/electric wheelchairs are allowed in the community with appropriate insurance coverage and the landlords’ permission.
- Residents will receive The Gardens policy on Motorized Aid/Wheelchair at the time of move in.
No live-in pets. Visiting pets are not permitted in the common areas and must be on a short leash while entering/exiting the building.
The Gardens at Qualicum Beach is a nonsmoking building.

Parking is available at the East entrance to The Gardens and is on a first-come basis. Visitors may park in any outdoor space, except where designated otherwise.
Designated parking stalls are conveniently located for guests with a valid parking permit for people with disabilities.
As this is the residents’ home, visiting hours are open to family and friends.

During viral respiratory illness season (typically December - March), we follow the Provincial Health Officer’s direction to help protect residents from respiratory illness.
Provincial policy requires all visitors to be informed: "Violence, foul language and abusive behaviours are not acceptable. Verbal threats or acts of violence will not be tolerated and may result in removal from this facility and/or prosecution.”
