We are a centrally located, boutique-style facility in James Bay with easy access from downtown Victoria via Douglas Street. We have underground parking available on-site for visitors, but spaces are limited. The Villa is a four-storey building set back from the street with peaceful outdoor space in the back garden that has ample seating for residents and guests to enjoy in the warmer months.
There are resident lounges on all the floors with a variety of reading materials, media equipment, pianos, and comfortable resting spaces available for residents and their guests. A recreation room and hair salon are on the lower level beside the underground parkade.
Conveniently located in James Bay close to the Inner Harbor, Beacon Hill Park, and the Provincial Legislature grounds.

Model of medical care/Physician organization
Residents at this care home will usually be followed by their current physician, provided that they are able to provide ongoing care. If the resident cannot be followed by their community physician (or if they do not have one), the home will help facilitate the finding of a new physician.

Residents pay 80% of their after-tax income up to a maximum rate. This covers the cost of food, cleaning, laundry, accommodation, and subsidized care.

We offer a wide variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities for our residents at Beacon Hill Villa. We have ongoing musical entertainment provided by local musicians playing piano, banjo, guitar, and harp.
We provide a variety of spiritual and arts programs throughout the week, organized by our recreation department. We take full advantage of our wonderful location and occasionally take strolls to Beacon Hill Park, the Inner Harbour, and the Provincial Museum.
Wheelchair accessibility in some rooms. No electric wheelchair accessibility.
The wheelchair ramp runs along the east side of the building and provides access to the care home via the back door.
No motorized scooters or motorized wheelchairs permitted at Beacon Hill Villa.
Live-in pets are not permitted. Visiting pets are welcome and must be leashed at all times, have current vaccinations, and be well mannered. No pets are permitted in any area where food is prepared or served.
There are no designated smoking areas at Beacon Hill Villa. Residents who smoke are required to do so independently, or with a personal companion, in designated areas off the care home property.

Parking in the underground garage is free but very limited and often full. The availability of pay parking is also limited in the immediate area. Special arrangements can be made for scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs for residents.
As this is the residents’ home, visiting hours are open to family and friends.

During viral respiratory illness season (typically December - March), we follow the Provincial Health Officer’s direction to help protect residents from respiratory illness.
Provincial policy requires all visitors to be informed: "Violence, foul language and abusive behaviours are not acceptable. Verbal threats or acts of violence will not be tolerated and may result in removal from this facility and/or prosecution.”
