About Yakimovich

The Yakimovich Wellness Centre (Yakimovich) offers in-person and virtual information sessions for free. These sessions will help you better navigate your health and aging journey.

Find us on Hillside Avenue, Victoria, next door to the Aberdeen Hospital.

Capacity and Equipment:   

  • Seats up to 60 people
  • Large drop-down screen
  • Laptop
  • Projector
  • Microphone audio system for presenter
  • Tables and chairs
  • Flip chart and stand

Booking the Centre:

It is free of charge to book the centre for Island Health and Community Groups.  

The centre can be booked for health related support groups, self-management programs, and health education. (Sorry – no meetings or business-related presentations).

Yakimovich uses Zoom for all virtual/online learning.

There is limited two hour parking available on Gosworth Street off Hillside Avenue. Paid parking is available at the back of the building as well.
There are two sets of bike racks located at the front of the Centre.
