Comox Valley After Hours Urgent Care Clinic

In partnership with the Comox Valley Division of Family Practice, this after hours urgent care clinic is open evenings and weekends offering same day in-person and virtual care appointments to serve patients in the Comox Valley region. 

Currently, this clinic is operating out of the Comox Valley Nursing Centre.

How to use the After Hours Urgent Care Clinic

Call to book an appointment. On weekdays from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends or statutory holidays after 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Walk-in appointments are not available.

When to use the After Hours Urgent Care Clinic

The clinic is for people who need non-emergency medical care within 12 to 24 hours including ailments such as:

• cough and colds
• fever
• cuts, wounds or skin conditions, rashes
• chest, ear or bladder infections
• back pain
• sprains and strains
• headaches
• minor injuries

When to use the emergency department

Please head to your nearest emergency department for:

• immediate medical care
• health crisis, serious illness or injury
• chest pain
• trouble breathing, shortness of breath
• suspect stroke
• overdose or poisoning
• broken bones, dislocated joints
• severe allergic reactions
