HOW TO GET CARE AT THIS CLINIC
You must call 1-833-688-8722 to book an appointment – phone lines are open at 8 a.m. Monday to Friday. The clinic is closed weekends and statutory holidays. A nurse or team member may ask you a few questions to match you with the right care.
The clinic is located at the North Island Hospital, Campbell River and District Administration Building at 381 2nd Avenue, adjacent to the hospital. Limited parking is available near the Administration Building for this service.
Walk-in appointments are not available.
We’re here for health concerns that need attention soon, but aren’t emergencies. These are conditions that should be seen within 12 to 24 hours. The clinic is for people who need access to same day primary care for non- emergency medical concerns. Care includes:
Common Illnesses
- Coughs, colds, sore throat
- Ear infections
- Urinary tract infections (also available through pharmacy)
- Allergic reactions or asthma (if you have trouble breathing, call 911)
- Skin conditions (rashes, skin irritation, minor wounds or itchy spots)
- Stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation
- Minor illnesses, fevers or infections in children
- Infections or abscesses
- Mental health concerns such as low mood, anxiety and depression
Minor Injuries
- Sprains and strains
- Stitches for cuts
- Suture removal
- Stabilizing you for hospital transport if needed
Reproductive and Sexual Health
- Pregnancy testing and options
- STI testing and treatment
- Support and care after sexual assault
