Hoarding Education & Action Team

The Hoarding Education & Action Team (HEAT) in Greater Victoria takes a collaborative approach to assist individuals facing clutter and hoarding disorder. This voluntary service requires consent and active participation, and offers individual counselling as well as peer-support groups. Please note that private companies offer decluttering services for a fee.

HEAT offers online support through the Vancouver Island Hoarding and Clutter Support Facebook Group. Within this group, members from across Vancouver Island are able to both give and receive personalized support.

Virtual meetings

Online Peer Support meetings are being held via Microsoft Teams. Email heat@islandhealth.ca to register.
