Comox Lake is the primary drinking water source for the Comox Valley & provides potable water for approximately 41,000 people.

We have about 950 drinking water systems, regulated under the Drinking Water Protection Act (Act) and the Drinking Water Protection Regulation (Regulation).

Environmental Health Officers work with water system operators, municipal governments, public health engineers & others to monitor community drinking water.

All water suppliers in British Colombia are required to monitor water that reaches consumers.
