Preparing for Your Visit

The approximate wait times for the orthopedic clinic may range from 1-3 hours. Please arrange parking accordingly.

Unless indicated by the specialist, there is generally no preparation required.

X-rays may occur based on individual cases.

Patients may incur costs for supplies. Payment can be made at the time of visit by credit or debit. The hospital does not do third party billing.

If you require extra assistance to ambulate, change clothes and/or for toileting, please ensure that a caregiver accompanies you to your visit.

If a translator is needed, please bring a family member or a friend to translate. Island Health will provide translation services over the phone if required.
