Volunteer Resources and Engagement is proud to support volunteer programs within Campbell River, Comox Valley and the North Island.
Volunteers in the these areas support Island Health patients, residents, clients, site visitors, and staff; through a variety of different programs.
A few examples include:
- Activity volunteer (supporting games and social activities with Long-Term Care residents)
- Social engagement volunteer (one-on-one social interaction with residents and patients)
- Clinic support volunteer (providing wayfinding and information to patients and clients visiting clinics within the hospital)
