Selkirk Place offers a wide variety of recreation and leisure programs led by friendly and qualified recreation staff members, under the direction of the Recreation Therapist. Each resident is encouraged and supported to increase personal wellness in their physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive domains, through recreation participation and exploration.
Residents can choose to enjoy baking and special meals in the resident kitchen; explore arts and crafts in the Studio; read and relax in the sun lounge; sing, dance or watch movies in the recreation room; or challenge themselves to a group crossword puzzle in the fireside Lounge. Friends and family are encouraged to attend special events as a resident’s guest.
Outdoor programs are scheduled regularly in the courtyard/patios and/or in the Selkirk Waterfront neighborhood.
