People attending Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH) should be aware of the temporary relocation of the main entrance to the hospital.
The main entrance to NRGH will be closed from May 30 to July 22 to complete necessary repairs to the roofing membrane and concrete surfaces directly outside the main entrance doors.
During this time, all foot traffic will be redirected to the adjacent perinatal entrance.
There will be signage around the area directing people to the appropriate entrance and the Island Health Ambassador station will be relocated to the perinatal entrance to support patients who may have questions or require assistance.
