Port Alberni — People attending West Coast General Hospital (WCGH) should be aware of upcoming temporary changes to the entrance to the emergency department.
To support construction work related to the ongoing emergency department redevelopment at WCGH, access to the emergency department will be through the main hospital entrance only during the following days and times:
- Monday, May 9 – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 7 a.m. Monday, May 16 until 7 p.m. Friday, May 20
During these days and times, the emergency department entrance will be closed and patients will be directed to the main entrance.
The construction schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
