People attending West Coast General Hospital (WCGH) should be aware of the temporary relocation of the main entrance to the hospital.
The main entrance to WCGH will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024, to allow for replacement of the doors.
During this time, people will be directed to the entrance on the east side of the building. There will be signage around the area directing people to the appropriate entrance and the Island Health Ambassador station will be relocated to the alternate entrance to support patients who may have questions or require assistance.
Access to the emergency department will continue, as normal.
