Training and Personal Development
HCSWs are part of the Government of British Columbia's Health Career Access Program (HCAP). HCAP provides an opportunity for individuals to begin employment in a non-direct care role (the Health Care Support Worker, or HCSW), while taking part in a Health Care Assistant (HCA) education program delivered through an acknowledged post-secondary institution.
