Respite care provides specialized support to clients of Community Health Services, giving caregivers a temporary break from their responsibilities, while ensuring quality care for their loved ones in a safe setting.

We have 17 facility respite locations across the Island Health region. Select the area you live in to browse our residences. A client is entitled to a maximum of 36 nights per year. Most stays are booked as a block of 6 or 7 nights.
