The Comox Valley Division of Family Practice and Island Health are pleased to announce that the Comox Valley After Hours Urgent Care Clinic, currently housed at the Washington Park Medical Clinic, will re-locate to the Comox Valley Nursing Centre.
Due to limited care provider availability, the Cormorant Island Community Health Centre emergency department will be closed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from April 15 to April 17, inclusive.
On April 10, Island Health is delighted to be celebrating BC Indigenous Nurses Day, in honour of Charlotte Edith Anderson Monture, the first Indigenous person in Canada to become a registered nurse.
Due to limited care provider availability, the Cormorant Island Community Health Centre (CICHC) emergency department (ED) will be closed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from April 7 to April 10, inclusive.
The CICHC ED will re-open as normally scheduled at 8 a.m. on April 11.
