The Hamlets at Duncan
This three-story building offers 88-long-term care private rooms (including two bariatric suites), divided into five neighbourhoods called “hamlets".
The Summit
A 320-bed long-term care home located in Victoria serving seniors who have dementia or complex care needs.
Eden Gardens
Located in Nanaimo, this two-storey wood frame building sits upon five acres, 1.5 kms from Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH).
Yucalta Lodge
Located in Campbell River, this facility has 95 private rooms with individual bathrooms including toilet, sink and shower, and four hospice rooms.
Project Development Agreement signed for a new Residential Care Facility in the Cowichan Valley
Duncan – Island Health and H&H Total Care Services Inc. (H&H) are working together to bring a new residential care facility to Duncan. The facility will focus on improving seniors’ care capacity in the Cowichan Valley and on meeting the needs of complex care clients.
The new site will have 80 publicly funded beds and eight private, complex care beds. The units will be grouped together in neighbourhoods with a home-like design. Each neighbourhood will have its own spa/bathing area, outdoor space, recreational area and quiet areas.

ISLAND WIDE – As we welcome 2018, confirmed outbreaks of Influenza A are appearing in long-term care facilities in the Nanaimo-Parksville area. Also, there are sporadic laboratory reports of people in communities throughout Vancouver Island with confirmed cases of the flu.
While the flu is often a short-term inconvenience for healthy people, it is among the leading causes of death in Canada*. If you are ill, please do not visit hospitals, residential care or assisted living facilities.
