The Esquimalt Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) will be closed to in-person visits all day Saturday, May 30, 2026, due to a planned BC Hydro power outage. Patients are advised to call 1-833-688-8722 to inquire about booking an appointment at another Victoria-area urgent and primary care centre.
The James Bay, Gorge, North Quadra, Downtown Victoria and Westshore sites remain open.
Esquimalt UPCC clinical staff will be re-deployed to other urgent and primary care centres to continue to support patient care. Virtual care appointments will not be affected.
The Esquimalt UPCC will resume normal operations Sunday, May 31, 2026.
