You must set up:
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
These are required before using any self-service options.

- All Island Health employees.
- Works for new and existing accounts once MFA is set up.
- You forget your Windows password.
- Your account is locked after too many incorrect password attempts.
- SSPR requires your MFA device.
- If it’s not with you, you cannot use SSPR to set up or reset your password.
- Contact the IMIT Service Desk to reset your Windows password.
- After resetting, follow How to Change Your Security Questions and Answers to delete and recreate them.
- Use your MFA device (or personal device) and follow How to Use SSPR to Reset Your Password.
- After resetting your password, go on-site and connect via Ethernet or Island Health Wi-Fi.
- Log in using your new Windows password.
- Follow How to Use SSPR to Reset Your Password.
- Once reset, log in to your Island Health applications using your new password.
