Use these options to get back in yourself.
Go to: aka.ms/sspr
- Select I forgot my password
- Answer your security questions
- Approve the sign-in request on your phone
- Follow the prompts to create a new password

Get set up
- Your phone verification app lets you sign in from home or off-site.
- Your security questions let you reset your password or unlock your account yourself – no need to call IMIT.
This is needed to sign in from home or off-site.
New to Island Health or no phone set up yet?
Contact the IMIT Service Desk for a Temporary Access Pass (TAP).
Have your phone or a TAP?
Go to: mfasetup.islandhealth.ca
- Sign in
- Register your phone
- Keep your phone with you when signing in from outside Island Health sites
You must complete Step 1 first. You need the phone verification app set up before you can do this step.
Go to: ssprsetup.islandhealth.ca
- Sign in
- Approve the sign-in request on your phone
- Add five security questions
- Review your settings
Once complete, you can reset your password or unlock your account without calling IMIT.

- You have forgotten your Windows password.
- Your account is locked after too many incorrect password attempts.
- You need the verification app on your phone to reset your password or set up security questions (SSPR).
- Without it, you must contact the IMIT Service Desk.
- Once you're back in, follow How to Change Your Security Questions and Answers .
- Use your phone to reset your password at aka.ms/sspr .
- Go on-site and connect via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
- Log in with your new password.
- Use your phone to reset your password at aka.ms/sspr .
- Sign in again with your new password.
