ISLAND WIDE - Island Health’s Board of Directors will hold its next public forum in the Cowichan Valley. Directors will get an update on planning for the future of health and care, including the process to replace the Cowichan District Hospital and a public health presentation from Cowichan Valley Medical Health Officer Dr. Shannon Waters.

As part of the regular business of the Board, the meeting will feature committee updates as well as a report from the President and CEO.
Island Health welcomes written questions, in advance, from the public.
Island Health also invites presentations from individuals and organizations. A written request is required to make a presentation to the Board, and applications must be submitted approximately two weeks prior to the meeting date (September 13 for this meeting).
