The entrance to the emergency department at the Cowichan District Hospital will be temporarily closed from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday April 21 to allow necessary door repairs to occur. During this time, patients and visitors will enter through the main entrance to the hospital.
The emergency department will remain open and accessible, 24/7.
Signage will be posted, and additional staff will be stationed at entrances to help guide people to the emergency department.
