This is a great role for someone who loves to be out and about, help our residents enjoy outings to shops, concerts and theatre, fairs, other fun seasonal activities.
Love to be on the move? Help our residents get their steps in with our walking program! Volunteers support groups of residents on walks both indoors and out.
1:1 Visiting Program
Love spending time with people 1 to 1? Our volunteers spend time with residents and get to know each other through 1 to 1 visiting over a hot beverage and help them write letters to family and friends, read the news other stories, and sometimes get competitive with a game of chess or scrabble!
Adult Day Program Volunteers
The Adult Day Program clients experience physical movement in small groups and with 1:1 time. Clients are also supported through social programs, cognitively stimulating programming as well as emotional support.
Support the movement of our residents, helping them get out and about! Walking programs both indoor and out in small group classes increase the physical activity of our residents. A great way to get your steps while helping a resident get theirs.
