Dr. Beuthin is an Adjunct Professor at University of Victoria’s School of Nursing and works as a researcher and clinical nurse specialist and coordinator for Island Health’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) program. She focuses promoting understanding of and ensuring access to MAiD.
Research Focus
Dr. Beuthin is actively involved in research projects about end of life care. Her research interests include the experience of living with advanced illness, nurses' experience with assisted dying, and the experiences of grief-bereavement.
