Health Library

The Comox Valley Nursing Centre offer health-related books and videos, as well as internet access.

The library shelves are set up under a number of topics including nutrition, chronic pain, health and wellness, arthritis, fibromyalgia, eating disorders, parenting, psychology, and fitness. We try to offer books that reflect current health care practices but also offer information on alternative therapies as so many individuals are seeking a blend of health care choices.

Community members are welcome to come into the Nursing Centre and borrow books for a two-week period at no charge. A small selection of health related videos are also part of the library collection. If questions arise as you read or view the material, nurses are available to discuss your health concerns.
