The Queen Alexandra Centre for Orthotics, Prosthetics and Seating helps people of all ages overcome physical disabilities and mobility challenges. We offer the widest range of accredited orthotic (bracing), prosthetic and seating assessments, in-house manufacturing facilities, and fitting services on Vancouver Island. Known As QAOPS, find our referral details on each of the pages below. We are located in Victoria BC, but serve the whole of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

If you are a patient in one of the local acute care Victoria hospitals, our team can assess and fit you at your inpatient Program.

Our patients have access to specialized clinics that our doctors oversee, these include Orthotic, Spasticity, Amputee, as well as Pediatric Spinal Deformity and Neuromuscular.

The program primarily caters to adult patients experiencing spasticity caused by stroke, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, acquired brain injury or spinal cord injury.

With the exception of appointments with our physiatrist, all services provided through Queen Alexandra Orthotics, Prosthetics and Seating are fee for service.
