Vice President, Pandemic Planning
Victoria is the Vice President, Pandemic Planning. In this temporary role, she oversees Island Health’s pandemic planning and response to COVID-19, while also monitoring analytics and modelling on a provincial scale, under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Health and Provincial Health Officer.
Victoria also holds the roles of Executive Lead for Experience and Executive Director of Quality, Safety & Improvement, a role that she has temporarily stepped out of while she works on pandemic planning. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from these and previous positions where she has had oversight for: client and family experience; quality; patient safety; infection prevention and control; ethics; occupational health and safety; and the Client Representative Office.
Victoria also held a provincial lead role in safety for Saskatchewan and worked with the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council on various improvement initiatives related to access to General Practitioners and Surgical specialists and physician quality improvement training.
Victoria holds Masters of Health Studies-Leadership from Athabasca University, Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from University of Saskatchewan and she has Lean Leader Certification in Quality.
